Haven't posted in ages. Thought I'd just say about my daydream cos it was nice :)
It was around my 21st and I'd received three presents from my best friend - dinner, alcohol and a charm bracelet. On the charm bracelet there were three charms and he said each one was meant to represent my presents so I wouldn't forget. One was a little cocktail glass, one was a burger and the other a letter.
He told me that I had to work out why the letter represented. I tried to work it out and soon enough it dawned on me that it was the first letter of his name. If he gives me that as a present when I turn 21, then it'll be the best birthday ever. I doubt it'll happen... But it'd be nice :)

Long time no see...
Well I've been working, sleeping, and making my gramps a cake. He turned 70 this weekend and as he used to be a farmer I made him a very large, themed cake. (picture to follow).
Work has been manic and what with the late shifts im fairly tired.
Glad to have day shifts next week - I can get some normal sleep in and see some special people. Out in town with the bestie on saturdy night! Dinner with Lovely Kirsty on thurs and tomorrow seeing the wounded soldier for a catch up <3

Busy busy busy
So I've organised my life now, and yet still really busy.
My grandads 70th birthday celebrations are this weekend and I am making him a cake. He used to be a farmer so currently I have made sunflowers, fences, cows and a tractor out of icing. I am damn cool ;)
Work last night and was meant to finish at 10 but cos I'm just that cool, I worked till finish as we were short staffed. Did the closed own of the bar on my own. So proud :)
Not looking forward to Friday - Olympic torch is coming through bournemouth and all the roads are closed so I either have to walk to work or go really early and spend the day in Bournemouth... Hmmm... :/ not fun.

Unlucky
This post is pretty much gunna be moaning so apologies in advance.
But I'm feeling rather unlucky at the moment.
Today my godson, nan and I were out walking. My nan found a tenner, godson found about £7 in
Coins and me? Nothing.
I'm unlucky in love... Wont get the guy.
I'm unlucky because everyone else is abroad (mostly) and I'm not.
I never win anything. I always miss out on things. However much I try, it's never quite right.
Sometimes it sucks being me :(
But I'm feeling rather unlucky at the moment.

Hectic weekend
Had a riding lesson on Friday - haven't ridden in about 5 weeks so was much needed!!! Rode my friends 17.1hh bay Irish x called Ralph - notoriously lazy with a VERY big stride.
A nice jump lesson which when I sorted myself out we we're jumping a course of 1m fences - why a clever boy!!! We went for a walk round the gallops to cool down.
At the bottom of the hill on the gallops a deer in the next field spooked Ralph and he took off like a gun shot. He then locked into the nearest xc fence on the gallops- a 4ftish log. How we survived that one I'm not sure but it was a huge jump!!!
Had to go to work in the evening so came home to shower, however as I stepped in, I slipped, twisting my ankle and falling heavily. Needless to say I didn't go to work!!
The next morning I woke up and my ankle felt much better. The same cannot be said of the rest of me which felt like my entire body had been tortured. My muscles were so sore!!!
Anyway I hobbled round work and got my rota for next week - Monday and Tuesday off for anyone who wants to see me lol ;)
Today I'm cooling for the family. Chicken in a cheese, wine and mushroom sauce with sweet potato followed by meringue, fruit and chocolate pecan pie!!! Oh yeahhhhh...

Moving house
So today I moved out of my first year student accommodation into our new house. I love the new house. It's huge. And beautiful. I can't wait!!!
The Paralympic dressage was on and I watched some of that this morning which was lovely. Amazing to see.
Grateful to my nan for completely cleaning my old room when I left - legend. It was pretty gross....
Written a little book with letters, poems, quotes and generally how I feel. Building up the courage to give it to the person it's intended for...

Quiet night
Considering it was pouring with rain yesterday and it was steak club, it was the quietest night I've worked at the pub. We had finished clear up by 1o'clock!!
Loads I stock went out of date yesterday too. Needless to say the kids fruit bags taste like nothing, the chocolate muffins are awesome, and the mojito juice tastes weird without the Bacardi...
Shared a taxi home with Alex as it was pouring still and he didn't want to walk - fair enough. Was nice to have company.
This morning when I eventually woke up - maybe I should say this afternoon - I commenced a poking war with my friend in Facebook. Then he preceded to call me a camel! Charming. ;)
Finished a book in the last two days 'the Secrets Between us - Louise Douglas' excellent read and I couldn't put it down. Highly recommended :) and a whsmiths book club recommendation.
Just about to start another book 'pure - Andrew Miller' which was costa's recommended book last year...
I'm not gunna lie, the cover was pretty so I picked it up, read the blurb and it sounded fairly good. Small book though, won't take me long to read. I'll let you know how it is...

Wet Feet
Work this morning. An early shift. Wasn't busy for ages then come 10o'clock it was heaving. There were two of us...
Was intersting... Wa meant to be working till 3 but I stayed on an extra hour because we were short staffed. During this hour I:
-fell over.
-slipped and pulled a muscle.
-had a barrel of ale explode on me...
Needess to say we rushed to catch the gallons of ale before the whole pub flooded... and I got wet. Very very wet.
I came home to my godson and helped him with his writing. (He's 4). Today we wrote Harry (his name), mummy, daddy, herbie (his dog) and 'my family' at the top of the page. We also did some rhyming words. Unfortunately his mum didn't think it through before saying 'what does it make if you out a b on our names?'
I think bummy, baddy, barry and berbie are going to stick somehow.

Lovely morning at the show with the bestie. Pity it was cut short by another naughty pony... But Amber was good as gold :D

Tonight I cooked for the family, sesame chicken with a mango hollandaise followed by creme brulee. Quite proud of myself actually. Love cooking :D Need to cook more - I plan on hosting dinner parties at the new house at uni next year. :)

Early starts
So I'm just that cool that I downloaded an app in order to keep up with my blogging when on the move- I'm a busy girl these days!!!
Last night I was working and saw loads of old friends - actually really nice :) as a wetherspoons there was of course always the standard drama that comes with the job. One guy I served claimed I had put no vodka in his two double vodka and pepsis - needless to say after a few sniffs and two people trying it - there was definitely a double vodka!!! He got chucked out...
Also served one of my mums ex boyfriends and his best mate- hasn't seen them for years so it was a nice little catch up!!
Needless to say I got in at 3:07 last night. Preceded to have a packet of crisps and fall asleep. At 6:15 I wa awake again and now at 6:55 I'm waiting for a bus to Poole to go play ponies. I'm such a good best friend!!
No let up either as it's an 8am start at work tomorrow!! Such fun.

I love friday night shifts. You don't have time to breathe, but it's great. I got bought a drink last night. Don't mind if I do! So after everyone made fun of my puffy eye Dan did apologise for doing it in the first place.
It's funny though, When I accused Dsn of flicking his cloth in my face making it infected... he somehow thought I said that he'd flicked his cock in my face and now my eye was infected. Perhaps not... :P
After work we all sat in the garden having drinks till about half past 4. I got in at 5 and ate a packet of crisps before sleeping in until half 1. Again. This is proving to be a pattern I think...
Anyway, I'm doing another 6 till finish shift tonight, and I will not be having drinks but coming straighr home - I'm helping the best friend with her pony tomorrow morning. That'll be a fun one to be up for...

Punch up
I woke this morning at around half 7 to find my eyes stuck together. I blindly stumbled to the bathroom to wash them so I could see and put some eyedrops in them both. Then I went back to sleep.
At 1:20 this afternoon I reawoke with my eyes a bit less stuck though still gross. As I washed them off and looked in the mirror I realised I looked like I'd been in a punch up. One eye is so puffy it is half closed and the other doesn't look too great either...
In other news I'm about to have steak and chips for breakfast (get in) and also I have work at 6pm. Now being on a finish shift knowing I'll probably be there till 4am, I'm glad I slept so long today. However, I have the same shift tomorrow night and going to a horse show Sunday morning before cooking for the fam in the evening.... its all fun and games...

The Boyfriend
No, this is not a post about my love life. I have no love life currently. I went with one of my nearest and dearest Mr Redwood to see 'The Boyfriend' at Jellicoe in Poole. It was really very good - I really enjoyed it.However, I'm going to be singing for the next two weeks, and tapping - I miss my dance lessons!!
Lee is convinced however I'm trying to make him fat. We went to Wetherspoons - curry club night - obviously he had a curry and cos Wetherspoons was my idea apparently it was my fault he had the curry... He then sat and watched me eat pudding. When we drove home after the shoew we passed McDonalds drive thru. Rude not to? Apparently that was me too. Actually that probably was me....
Really enjoying working at Wetherspoons. Its payday tomorrow (first one) and the end of my second week.However when a beer covered cloth gets flicked in your face, it isn't good. Now, I'm very prone to conjunctivitis, so one eye became immediately infected. And now both eyes are infected. Yum.So it appears that I will be having to use these horrible eye drops for the next few days. Oh what fun!

A Little Bit of Me
So I figured I'd start a blog. I spend so much of my life on facebook, so I guess the people that are interested in my life can read it here, rather than me blocking their newsfeed as much.
I'm studying Bioveterinary Medicine at Hartpury College, University of the West of England (UWE). I've just passed my first year with a 2:1... 68%. Only 2% off of a first. Bugger.
I'm horse mad, and I will be getting my first proper loan horse next year at Uni, her name is Henda. You'll hear a lot about her I'm sure.
I'm currently working at Wetherspoons - The Moon in the Square in Bournemouth. For my Bournemouth friends, drop in and say hi - I'll post my hours every week on here so you know when I'm working - for the rest of this week I'm working 6pm-finish Friday and Saturday.
